1. Try Harder
I told myself that this year I would try my hardest at everything, in school and out. I normally just tried as hard as I needed to, rather than my best and reaching my potential.
This one has been going fairly well. I've managed to do about an hour of revision and homework every single day, and I think it's payed off as I got an A* in my last maths exam.
2. Eat Better
A very stereotypical resolution I'm afraid, but it seemed appropriate for me. I used to often eat just when I wanted to, and maybe eat slightly too much junk food.
So far I have manged to keep this one up fairly well, I mean I still have those days when I go on a kinda binge, but the majority of the time I manage to control myself.
3. Who Really Cares?
I used to get worried by what other people thought of me, and I think that affected my personality a bit. I've been trying not to care about this this year, and so far it's going good. I feel much more confident!
4. Exercise is Good!
Yup, another obvious one, but I do feel like I need to take more exercise as asides from PE I don't really do any.
This is the only resolution that has been a really big fail. I told myself I'd try to just have a quick workout (few sit-ups, leg lifts ect) about 4 times a week, and it's been a struggle even doing it once. I just need motivation really! Do any of you have some good motivational tips for me?
Those were my main resolutions this year, and I am quite pleased with how I've done so far! How are you getting on with yours?
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
